Elland Road update as owners elect for change

Leeds announced plans to renovate Elland Road back in April this year, with fans excited to see the new plans in place.

In a new update, the architects for Elland Road’s work have changed, but the project management and design are to remain the same.

Work is expected to begin at the end of the 2025-26 season, with the North and West stands will be rebuilt in phases

While the new architectural group is unknown, time will tell whether the change will have an impact on the finished product.

Leeds look to target previously linked West Ham midfielder

Leeds’ midfield has been much praised this season, but that hasn’t stopped the club from being linked with fresh targets.

Following Sean Longstaff’s success at Elland Road, Leeds have been tipped to explore a move for another Premier League midfielder.

James Ward-Prowse has been mooted as a potential target for Leeds, having previously been mentioned while he was at Southampton.

Leeds may not opt to move for the Englishman, but he should be available, having seemingly been frozen out by West Ham

Daniel Farke to take advantage of Tottenham weakness on Saturday

Leeds are winless in their last four against Spurs, and are looking to turn that around on Saturday.

Farke will be breaking down the opposition and will have spotted the glaring weakness in Spurs’ defence.

Spurs have been vulnerable from set-pieces, conceding goals to opposition from those positions too regularly.

Tottenham’s goalkeeper, Guglielmo Vicario, has come under real pressure with his inability to deal with set-pieces confidently.

Leeds can be dangerous from set-pieces, as shown against Bournemouth and may look to use this to their advantage on Saturday.
