Leeds United may turn to Wolves attacker Adama Traore after Bamba Dieng snub

Leeds United may reportedly turn to Wolves attacker Adama Traore after Bamba Dieng is now unlikely to join them on transfer deadline day.

According to former Eurosport journalist Dean Jones, Leeds are tempted to turn to players they’ve explored signing over the last few months.

One of them is the Spain international who spent the second half of last season on loan at Barcelona and is now struggling for game time.

Jones told Give Me Sport, “Leeds are now tempted to turn back to players they have had an interest in for some time. Hwang is an obvious one but also look out for Adama Traore.”

Dan James-esque

There’s no point in letting in Dan James leave on loan if they are signing a player that’s identical to him.

Sure, Traore, who has been labelled “phenomenal” is better built and offers more pace and physicality, but by and large, both players are criticised for their end product.

All of the attackers Leeds signed this summer have end product and it’s pretty evident that Traore does not.

There is no point in gambling on a completely new player if they already had James among their ranks.

Jesse Marsch even trusted the Welshman to lead the line on numerous occasions so he was a player who was getting along with the American.

Traore may not completely buy into his plans and we really do not see this happening on transfer deadline day as Marsch is very likely to veto it even though Victor Orta may be an admirer.
