Leeds United may consider experienced manager as Javi Gracia sack update emerges

Leeds United may consider an “experienced manager” to replace Javi Gracia for the club’s final four matches, according to the Daily Mail.

The Mail claim (1 May) that Gracia’s future at Elland Road is in “serious doubt” after Leeds were beaten 4-1 by Bournemouth on Sunday.

It’s believed Andrea Radrizzani is considering making another managerial change in a bid to save the Whites from relegation.

The board are now weighing up options ahead of the visit to Manchester City, with Michael Skubala also being considered.

Do it

Gracia isn’t going to be here next year, so why delay? The Spaniard’s time at Elland Road is reaching its conclusion and, at present, he’s taking Leeds down. There’s no getting away from that fact.

The mess is all on the board. The uncertainty over Gracia’s future has seen the players completely down tools. They’re disinterested and clearly not fighting for the fanbase. Skubala being given the job would be the most sensible route for the Whites to go down. He made an impact during his brief stint earlier in the season, and considering there are only four matches left, surely it’s worth a shot?

The upcoming fixture against Manchester City should be written off. Leeds don’t have any hope of gaining any sort of result at the Etihad. It’s the home matches against Newcastle and Spurs which will be vitally important. Furthermore, West Ham could well be safe by the time Leeds travel to the London Stadium.

One last throw of the dice is certainly required from Radrizzani and Orta. It’s been a chaotic season, one last managerial change would sum up the current state of the Yorkshire side.
