Leeds United looking in Spain for major new signings in January – David Anderson
Leeds United have been looking for new January signings in Spain, according to David Anderson.
The Mirror journalist has reported that the Whites are pushing hard to get a deal over the line for a new midfielder in the next 10 days.
Weston McKennie and Nahitan Nandez have been ruled out, with Italy looking at those it is a dead-end, as things stand.

Speaking to GIVE ME SPORT this week, Anderson shared the latest work going on at Leeds as we hit the final stage of the window.
“I think they’ll be looking everywhere,” he said. “We’ve already been told no on Nandez and McKennie, so they’re looking everywhere.
“They’re looking in Spain and wherever, but it’s a really hard one to do right now.”

Orta influence.
Victor Orta appears to be going back to home comforts as things start to get tough in the January window this month.
With only 10 days remaining in the market, pressure will start to rise with each day that passes without a new signing at Elland Road.
Diego Llorente, Rodrigo and Junior Firpo have all arrived from their homeland in Spain over the past two years, and there could be yet another one joining that list in the imminent future.
It looks as though Leeds have representatives everywhere in Europe, as things stand, with Tom Bogert reporting that they are also in Austria as they look to conclude a deal for RB Salzburg star Brenden Aaronson.
This is certainly one to keep a close eye on, though, with numerous signings on the cards over the next 10 days – bring it on.
