Leeds United likely destination for Rory Mahady as Celtic exit confirmed
Leeds United are the likely destination for young goalkeeping sensation Rory Mahady, according to the Scottish Sun in the past 24 hours.
The newspaper has reported on its website that Spurs and Manchester City were both interested in the 16-year-old who has represented Scotland at international level.
Mahady is now set to pen his first professional contract, most likely with Leeds, after confirming his exit from Celtic in the past week after going through their academy.
Victor Orta and his team are always on the lookout for new talent around not only the United Kingdom but around Europe too with many success stories at Thorp Arch.
Mahady would not be the first young sensation poached from Celtic either, with Leo Hjelde making that same journey in recent years, already making his first-team debut in the Premier League.

This one could certainly happen very quickly.
With Mahady confirming his exit from Celtic on social media, all eyes were drawn to his future with a first professional contract on the cards wherever he goes.
Leeds have so many success stories in recent years with Marcelo Bielsa and Jesse Marsch, that they can use them as examples to persuade some of the best talents to join up.
Orta will have put them on the table, and maybe even the example of Hjelde’s rise at Elland Road already if he has held talks with the young goalkeeper and his team.
Leeds now have some of the best young goalkeepers around Europe in their ranks.
Illan Meslier has cemented his spot as one of the best talents in the world by his Premier League antics, with the likes of Kristoffer Klaesson and Dani van den Heuvel behind.
Add the experience of Joel Robles in the conversation, and Thorp Arch is the perfect place for young goalkeepers to improve their trade and move forward with their careers.
All eyes are now on Mahady and his potential move to Leeds which could now happen very quickly.
