Leeds intensify talks to sign Noa Lang - Fabrizio Romano
Leeds United are intensifying talks to sign Club Brugge winger Noa Lang during this window, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The high-profile journalist shared the update after claiming that Marcelo Bielsa will sign his new contract this week.
It appears as though Bielsa’s first priority will be bringing the Dutch sensation to Elland Road ahead of a summer of new deals.
Speaking on The Here We Go Podcast this week, Romano shared the update that will no doubt leave fans buzzing at Elland Road.
“Leeds are working for Noa Lang,” he said.
“A winger from Brugges, interesting player, talks ongoing, they are really, really interested in him.”
Talks appear to be intensifying by the day, and Lang is the one name that keeps reappearing at Elland Road.
The 22-year-old burst onto the scene last season on loan in Belgium and has only just made his move permanent from Ajax.
It would make Brugges an immediate huge profit, but they have been reported to want to keep him for one more year.
Lang scored 16 goals and added seven assists in his 29 appearances last season, and it is clear by one search for videos, just how good he is.
Jack Harrison is set to confirm his permanent move soon, and along with Raphinha, Lang will arrive with serious competition.
Imagine those three at Elland Road next season, it would be among the best wide options in the entire Premier League, and Europe would be more than just a dream.
