Leeds United injury news as Max Wober suffers thigh problem on Friday
Leeds United defender Max Wober picked up a fresh thigh injury on Friday 24 March as Austria strolled past Azerbaijan, according to Salzburger Nachrichten.
The Austrian newspaper has reported in its print edition [25 March, pg 19] that the enforcer leaving the field early in the opening half had no impact on his side.
Javi Gracia will be keeping a close eye on developments, with the hope that this is more precautionary than a big issue given his form alongside Robin Koch.
They wrote: “The fact that Leeds legionnaire Maximilian Wober had to replaced by Stefan Posch after only 33 minutes due to thigh problems did not put Austria out of the concept.”
Nervous.
With little information relayed by international teams, it looks as though Leeds fans will need to wait and see.

Given how professional he is, Rob Price will no doubt have already established contact with the Austrian national team to find out the extent of the damage.
One positive is that it isn’t a hamstring blow or something along the same lines that instantly comes along with weeks on the sideline, fingers crossed anyway.
Liam Cooper was back in the squad at Wolves but hasn’t played since the start of February, so his first Premier League game back against Arsenal does not fill us with hope if that is the case.
Wober has been solid since his arrival, even if he has played centrally and not at left-back, so this is the last thing we need as we look for Premier League survival.
No one likes the international break, and this is just another reason why.
In other Leeds news, the club are ready to offer one key first-team player a new contract.
