Leeds United hope to finalise another major new signing in next seven days – Graham Smyth
Leeds United are hoping to conclude another new signing in the next week, according to Graham Smyth.
The Yorkshire Evening Post journalist has shared the major update as Victor Orta gets a “vital” summer rebuild underway at Elland Road this summer.
Brenden Aaronson and Rasmus Kristensen have both already been confirmed from RB Salzburg, but the Whites are clearly far from done with the window still not officially open.

Writing in his latest column for the Yorkshire Evening Post on Thursday afternoon [09 June], Smyth shared the latest transfer news coming from Elland Road.
“Leeds have already committed to a transfer spend of £35m for RB Salzburg pair Brenden Aaronson and Rasmus Kristensen, who will both officially become Whites on July 1 when international deals can be cleared,” he wrote.
“And they hope to conclude a third signing in the next week or so as a vital summer rebuild gets well underway.”

Wow.
This has been a sensational start to the summer with all of these deals being confirmed before the window has even officially opened across Europe.
Aaronson and Kristensen will bolster the first team tremendously and both will be expected to be in the starting XI on the opening day of the 2022-23 season.
Orta isn’t done there though, and it looks as though he has another new signing in the pipeline that could be as good as done given the timescale.
It looks as though it could be announced in the next seven days and everyone will now be filled with excitement as another name could be making their way to Elland Road.
West Ham source, ExWHUemployee, has reported that the Whites are ready to pay the demands of Sonny Perkins, in a deal that could be completed in the next two weeks.
That will certainly be one to watch as each day progresses.
