
Leeds United goalkeeper Rory Mahady update emerges after injury v Manchester City
Leeds United sensation Rory Mahady went down suddenly in the FA Youth Cup clash against Manchester City under-18s on Friday, 10 May, according to Adam Pope.
The BBC journalist was in attendance at the Etihad Stadium where the Leeds youngsters fell to a comprehensive 4-0 defeat against the Citizens.
Mahady, the 17-year-old, who joined Leeds in 2022, felt an injury concern and got treatment but was fine and managed to soldier on for the rest of the game.
Via Twitter, Pope wrote: “Utd keeper Mahady suddenly goes down with an injury just as he receives the ball. Seems to be ok.”
