Leeds United fringe player Tyler Roberts no longer on Huddersfield radar
Huddersfield Town are no longer interested in signing Leeds United attacker Tylor Roberts on loan this summer, according to Yorkshire Live.
The Welsh international is attracting the eyes of a lot of Championship clubs at the moment with Queens Park Rangers, Hull City, Cardiff City and Birmingham City among those in the race [Daily Mail].
But the Terriers, who narrowly missed out on a Premier League return last season, are not going to get involved in that particular battle which narrows Roberts’ options ever so slightly.

The 23-year-old played 23 times for Leeds United last season but the vast majority of those appearances came off the bench and his impact became less and less once Jesse Marsch took charge.
Get him gone
If we want to be seriously considered as a team that will make their mark on the Premier League this season, we can’t have players like Roberts hanging around the place.
The Welshman proved last season that he was not good enough to play for us regularly as he provided so little in terms of attacking returns that Under-23 stars Joe Gelhardt and Sam Greenwood usurped him in the pecking order.

We are also keenly looking to add more depth to our attacking department which would further his problems in getting game time which is what he desperately needs in a World Cup year.
Even if it isn’t Huddersfield, we must find a way to either loan him out or sell him this summer not only for his own good but for the good of the club too.
Marsch won’t even consider playing Roberts unless a mass injury crisis strikes upon Elland Road for the second successive season and even then he could end up playing second fiddle to the wealth of talent in the academy at Thorp Arch.
In other Leeds United news, there is a possibility that this forgotten man could get his final chance to impress at Elland Road after a goalless season in 2021-22.
