Leeds United forward Mateo Joseph appears to be on good terms with reported target Alex Scott with the duo appearing on Instagram.
The 19-year-old Leeds attacker shared a story with the Bristol City midfielder and posted it on his social media handle.
Scott, 19, has been one of the leading performers in the Championship this season and has been linked with a move to Elland Road.
The Athletic on Thursday 16 March reported that rumours are continuing to swirl about the Whites’ interest in the 19-year-old.
He appears to be a generational talent and Victor Orta must look to bring him to Elland Road in the summer, should Leeds stay up.
£25million is the price that’s being suggested but Leeds can surely look to bring it down if they try to and if there isn’t a market for him, Bristol will be compelled into accepting a lower fee.
Joseph knows him well by the looks of it and if Leeds’ interest is genuine, he’ll surely have put in a good word about life at Elland Road.
Scott is the sort of talent whose valuation is only going to increase the more he plays and it’s best if Leeds look to sign him as early as they possibly can.
He’s already been praised by Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola and if he perhaps has a couple of more good seasons, it won’t be surprising if clubs competing for the Champions League title are also in for him.
