Leeds United fans called out by Jeff Stelling live on Sky Sports today
Jeff Stelling has called out the Leeds United fanbase when discussing the Premier League relegation race, live on Sky Sports Soccer Saturday.
The Whites are currently embroiled in a tense relegation battle that sees the bottom nine teams separated by just seven points.
Javi Gracia’s side face direct Premier League rivals Wolves on Saturday (18 March) and can climb out of the Premier League relegation zone if they win, and other results go their way.
Speaking live on Sky Sports Soccer Saturday (Saturday, 18 March, 12:50), Stelling goaded the Elland Road faithful when discussing the race for survival.
“Don’t be offended if we don’t mention your team,” he said.
“I’m talking to you Leeds United fans and you Wolves fans.”

In the mix
Leeds are well and truly in the relegation scrap this season, and it could well go down to the final day of the season, just like last year.
However, if Gracia’s side want to make their jobs that bit easier come the end of the season, a win against Wolves at the Molineux Stadium could go a long way to restoring confidence at Elland Road.
As is the packed nature of the bottom half of the Premier League table, the Whites could climb as high as 14th place with a victory this weekend – a potential morale booster ahead of the international break.
One major issue that Gracia will have to contend with is the absence of influential midfielder Tyler Adams, who picked up a hamstring injury in the aftermath of the 2-2 draw against Brighton.
Leeds fans will be hoping that the USA captain will be ready and raring to go for the club’s return to top-flight action after the international break when they face Arsenal on 1 April.
In other Leeds United news, the club may now face a losing battle to keep their star player at Elland Road beyond the summer transfer window.
