Leeds defender Luke Ayling hopes to return against Brighton
Phil Hay has claimed in his latest piece for The Athletic that Leeds United defender Luke Ayling is hoping to feature against Brighton.
The 30-year-old hasn’t played for the Whites since the 1-1 draw against Newcastle United back in mid-September.
He has returned to training this week, and the right-back is hoping to get involved in the Premier League clash on Saturday.

The Yorkshire club have suffered badly with injuries thus far, but it seems they are about to enjoy some good fortunes.
Ayling is expected to return to first-team action shortly. He scored a “stunning” [Sky Sports] goal against Manchester United on the opening day of the season, and his return to the side will serve as a massive boost for the club.
Robin Koch has also recovered from a hip injury.
Patrick Bamford has been heavily missed for the past seven games, and the Englishman is close to returning to action as well.
Both Raphinha and Rodrigo didn’t feature in the 2-1 defeat against Tottenham Hotspur through illness and injury respectively.
However, both the forwards have trained normally this week, and are likely to return to first-team action against Brentford.
Bielsa will soon have almost a fully-fit squad at his disposal, and Leeds must now aim to maintain a winning momentum from here on.
