Leeds United defender Junior Firpo could return by April 9
Leeds United defender Junior Firpo could reportedly be back as early as the second week of April, on the 9th of next month.
The Spaniard last played on March 10 when the Whites suffered a 3-0 defeat against Aston Villa.
Premier League injury expert Ben Dinnery believes that the left-back should be back by April 9. [Premier Injuries]
Jesse Marsch said of the player recently, “They think it’s not so bad, it’s a little bit lighter, grade 2. From the date of injury, they think maybe 3-5 weeks.”
Will he start?
Firpo has had a really hard time since moving to Leeds United in the summer.

The Spaniard arrived from Barcelona with the expectations that he will address the club’s left-back woes.
With Gjanni Alioski gone, Leeds needed an established player who’s got the experience at a top club.
Firpo ticked all the boxes, but unfortunately, has struggled to adapt to the pace of the English game.
Stuart Dallas, a midfielder by trade, has been deployed at left-back time and again, and has thrived there.
Arguably, he even does a better job than Firpo as his positional awareness as well as defensively ability is better than the Spaniard’s.
There’s a good chance that when Firpo is back, he plays second fiddle to Dallas, despite starting in most games this season.
It’s a good dilemma to have for Jesse Marsch as he would want all his players fit and ready.
In other Leeds United news, Steve McManaman claims that a Whites man has already lost the trust of fans and some players after what happened last week.
