Leeds United could make loan approach for Charles De Ketelaere in January
Leeds United could make a move in the January transfer window to sign AC Milan attacker Charles De Ketelaere, according to Ben Jacobs.
The Whites sustained a long-standing interest in the 21-year-old over the summer but he opted to join the reigning Italian champions eventually after a stretched transfer battle.
But he has not settled at the San Siro this season and there is talk that he could be available for a loan move when the January window opens and Leeds want a piece of the action.

“There is a feeling at Leeds’ end that they want to be kept abreast of the situation because there is a feeling that perhaps, from Milan’s point of view, he isn’t enjoying things there,” the CBS journalist said to Give Me Sport.
“That might give Leeds an opportunity, potentially only on a loan, to get back inside De Ketelaere’s head and do something in January.”
Not again
Last summer was such a long one with this transfer saga being dragged out for months on end and now it’s set to start all over again.
De Ketelaere made it fairly obvious in the summer that he wasn’t really all that bothered about signing for Leeds United and even after a tough start to life in Milan, you can’t see that his opinion will have changed all that much.

Jesse Marsch needs players who are fully committed to the club and want to be at Elland Road and the Belgian international is clearly not and will never be.
There are better, more willing players who would want to play for Leeds in the Premier League and that’s without mentioning that attack is not where Victor Orta should be looking.
They’ve been free-scoring in recent weeks but the leakiness at the back is a major concern and something that needs to be sorted before trying to sign the marquee attacker.
In other Leeds United news, this Thorp Arch sensation could be sent out on loan in January with plenty of interest from the Championship.
