Leeds United have been blown out of the water in the race to sign Aberdeen defender Calvin Ramsay before Monday’s transfer deadline.
That’s according to the Scottish Daily Express, who report that the Italian side Bologna are ready to pay the most for the right-back sensation.
It is suggested that Aberdeen are braced for last-gasp bids, with Leeds having held talks over a move for Ramsay.
That would make it the third blow this week already.
Brenden Aaronson is proving tricky with RB Salzburg remaining stubborn on any deal that will now need to wait until the summer [Claudio Mauri].
The Mirror then reported that Liverpool had turned down an approach for Takumi Minamino, but the Whites are still trying with that one.
