Leeds United bid now accepted for RB Salzburg defender Rasmus Kristensen
Leeds United have had their bid accepted for RB Salzburg defender Rasmus Kristensen, according to The Mirror on Tuesday afternoon [02 June].
David Anderson has reported that the Austrian champions have green-lighted the £8.5million transfer with the Danish international currently away on international duty.
It is shared that Kristensen will undergo his medical and then the transfer will be announced with personal terms currently not an issue at Elland Road.

Writing in The Mirror live blog this afternoon [02 June, 04:31 pm], Anderson shared the major update with signing number two set to be confirmed.
“Leeds are set to make Red Bull Salzburg’s Denmark defender Rasmus Kristensen their second summer signing for £8.5million,” he wrote.
“Leeds have already landed US midfielder Brenden Aaronson from Salzburg and now the Austrian champions have accepted their bid for Kristensen.
“Personal terms are not expected to be an issue and the right-back will become a Leeds player once he passes his medical.”

This is it.
Well then, it looks as though this is a done deal.
Kristensen is currently away with Denmark so unless he can do his medical there, the announcement may not be made until this jam-packed fortnight is finished.
That will then allow the 24-year-old to get a holiday sorted to refuel before coming in for pre-season at Thorp Arch under his old boss Jesse Marsch.
The American has proved to be critical in these negotiations, and beating Borussia Dortmund to the deal just shows how highly-regarded Kristensen is within Europe.
Building a positive relationship by stepping back in January when they wanted to keep Brenden Aaronson has no doubt helped too, and Victor Orta has to be praised for that.
With the bid now accepted, everything should run smoothly – let’s welcome our new right-back.
