Leeds United attacker Raphinha would consider West Ham switch
Leeds United attacker Raphinha would reportedly fancy a move to West Ham despite growing interest from Europe’s top clubs.
According to 90Min, he was open to moving to the London Stadium in January as well when the Hammers tried to sign him and will once again fancy a move there.
However, he would prioritise a move to Barcelona but their financial situation paves the way for other suitors.
Not happening surely
The other clubs that are realistically showing an interest in him are Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.
Two of those teams will be playing in the Champions League while the other one will be in the Europa League and with deep pockets.
West Ham are only a Conference League side and will not be able to match Leeds’ valuation or what the other top Premier League clubs are willing to pay.
They may want the Brazilian, but they clearly had a better chance in January when the market was not this heated for him.
Leeds’ main prerogative is going to be get as much money as possible for Raphinha and will certainly play the different offers they get off of each other in order to get the best bid.
He’s all set to leave in the coming weeks and it will be a real surprise for all parties involved if he’s still on the Leeds payroll once the Premier League campaign commences in August.
