Leeds United attacker Dan James undergoing Fulham medical

Leeds United attacker Dan James is set to leave the club on loan as he’s joining Fulham and undergoing his medical there.

According to The Telegraph’s Mike McGrath, the Wales international is all set to be a Fulham player for the current season.

The London outfit were looking at a winger on deadline day and have now completed a loan move for the big-money Whites player.

Via Twitter, McGrath wrote, “Dan James doing medical at #Fulham ahead of season-long loan from Leeds United.”

Bad move

We’re unsure if there is an option or obligation to buy at the end of it, but Leeds should not have sanctioned loans for James.

He’s been a flop since his move from Manchester United and must be off the club’s books permanently with money coming in.

That would give Leeds some funds to sign not one but maybe two attacking players on deadline day as they do not seem any stronger going into the 11pm deadline.

Bamba Dieng certainly was way down the list at Elland Road and they’re settling for a mid-table Ligue 1 striker whose numbers are far from impressive.

Hopefully, that is not the end of their transfer business and they continue pursuing other options even if they are short-term fixes.

Sure, they would’ve preferred Cody Gakpo from PSV, but they can always pursue his services in January and need some good players to take them until then.
