Leeds United ace Archie Gray sends ‘greatest of all time’ message to Crysencio Summerville

Leeds United youngster Archie Gray has sent a “greatest of all time” message to his teammate Crysencio Summerville.

The latter netted a brace for the Whites as they defeated Norwich City 3-2 in the Championship on Saturday (21 October).

Shane Duffy and Gabriel Sara put the hosts ahead at Carrow Road, but Duffy then netted an own goal before Summerville’s double cliched an away win.

Both Gray and Summerville started the match, with the former playing the entire 90 minutes and the latter being replaced late on by Liam Cooper.

Summerville posted on Instagram to celebrate the victory, with his Elland Road teammate Gray commenting with the goat emoji, meaning “greatest of all time.”

Stunning win

Leeds rarely do things easy, and that was very much the case for Daniel Farke and his talented group of players at Carrow Road.

It was a disastrous return to Norwich for their former manager, with the home side racing towards all three points with their first half goals.

But the manager clearly inspired his men to get their act together in the second 45 minutes, culminating in a superb brace from winger Summerville.

With the likes of Jaidon Anthony and Wilfried Gnonto patiently waiting in the wings, Farke could have easily made a change early in the second half by replacing Summerville with fresh legs.

But keeping him on the pitch proved to be crucial, with the attacker turning on the charm for the travelling Leeds faithful.

The Whites returned to West Yorkshire with all three points, and now sit pretty in third place, 11 points behind leaders Leicester City.
