Leeds Super Fans react to Rodrigo-Barcelona links
This is part of a regular series from our panel of Leeds United Super Fans. Each week, Super Fans from our Leeds Insider Facebook page will deliver their verdicts on the biggest talking points and news stories around Elland Road…
Shock links emerged on Thursday as Barcelona made a last-ditch attempt to sign Leeds United forward Rodrigo.
Joti Jorda reported that the Spanish giants asked the Whites over their big-money attacker, but were emphatically told no.
It hasn’t been the best of starts to life in the Premier League for Rodrigo, who has failed to score at the start of this season either.

Despite it not being the best of starts, just dumping Rodrigo without a replacement will have been a terrible decision.
It would put much more pressure on the likes of Tyler Roberts to stand up and be counted behind the likes of Mateusz Klich.
Barcelona aren’t exactly in the best of places financially, which is well documented, so it can’t have been a very good offer if any were placed at all.
Marcelo Bielsa is building something special and knows his players inside and out, he will be confident of getting more out of his big signing.

We asked our esteemed panel of Super Fans what decision they would have made, and it was clear what they would have done.
The majority insisted that a mistake may have been made, and that Leeds should have pushed for a big sale or even a player swap.
Here’s what they said below…
