Leeds put under severe pressure for Noa Lang deal by Sevilla

Leeds United have been linked with a move for Club Brugge winger Noa Lang throughout this window.

With no progress being made, Voetbal 24 have reported that the Whites are under severe pressure to complete the deal.

Sevilla have entered the race to sign the electric winger, and Leeds will need to act quickly to win the race.

Leeds are pushing hard to secure two transfers this month.

Dharmesh Sheth reported that the Whites want another midfielder and a winger, with Lang clearly in that category.

Fabrizio Romano has been closest to the links this summer, with Leeds having been in agent talks for the 22-year-old.

No bid appears to have gone in, never mind accepted with just above three weeks to go until the window closes.

Priority?

Leeds may not have the urge to move as quickly as needed.

The priority looks to be securing another midfielder this summer, with talks for Lewis O’Brien much more progressed than any other.

Lang appears to be the name on everyone’s lips at Elland Road, with the likes of Dan James not as fancied by fans.

The 22-year-old is yet to respond to the improved contract terms offered to him in Belgium, and that leaves the door ajar for an exit.

If he wanted to stay at Brugge desperately, that contract will have been signed, but Leeds and Sevilla must have turned his head.

It is time to speed up negotiations and take it out of the hands of others.
