Leeds United still want to complete two more transfers before the end of this month, according to Dharmesh Sheth.

The Sky Sports journalist shared the update this week, claiming a winger is still wanted by the club alongside a midfielder.

There are doubts creeping in over the pursuit of a winger, with the priority move for a midfielder not picking up speed yet.

Speaking on the Transfer round-up on Sky Sports late last night, Sheth shared the update that will delight fans.

"Leeds United have made six signings in this transfer window," he said.

"They want to bring in a midfielder and a winger."

Two more.

Lewis O'Brien appears to be the main priority of the club right now, with all eyes on securing that deal as soon as possible.

Marcelo Bielsa was watching the Huddersfield Town midfielder over the weekend, but Phil Hay insisted the deal wasn't in the closing stages.

With that being said, and the Championship starting this weekend, this proposed move could go on for weeks.

If Leeds drag that one on, a move for a winger may be put on the backburner, and may not even happen until January.

Ryan Kent, Daniel James and Noa Lang have all been named as options, but we suspect talks won't happen with those until a move for a midfielder is complete.

This will go down to the wire, and Victor Orta will be working day and night for the next three weeks with no rest, that is for sure.
