Leeds make contact to sign Noni Madueke - Jack Rosser
Leeds United have made contact with PSV Eindhoven over Noni Madueke this summer, according to Jack Rosser.
The Evening Standard journalist has reported that Borussia Dortmund view the English winger as a potential replacement for the outgoing Jadon Sancho.
Crystal Palace and the Whites have made their moves to bring him to the Premier League though, as the race hots up.
Writing on his personal Twitter account, Rosser shared the update as Leeds clearly look to strengthen their attacking options.
“As has been reported, Dortmund keen on Noni Madueke as a replacement for Sancho,” he wrote.
“Crystal Palace and Leeds have also asked about his availability, though there is interest from a lot of top clubs in Europe.
“Left Spurs at 16 to play abroad.”
Get it done.
What a talent Madueke is, we all know what moving abroad at a young age can do to English youngsters.
Sancho is the perfect example, and will be moving to Manchester United for over £70million this summer – the resale value of these talents is immense.
The 19-year-old scored seven goals and added four assists in his 960 minutes of action in the Eredivisie last season – that’s an involvement every 87 minutes.
If links like this don’t get you excited, you would be doing something wrong, with Madueke one of the best at taking on his man.
After leaving Spurs as a youngster, a move back to the Premier League will surely tempt him, as he can return and prove everyone wrong.
This is definitely one to watch.
