Leeds and host of PL clubs offered Manchester United’s Dan James
Manchester United have reportedly offered Leeds United target Daniel James to a host of Premier League clubs after completing the signing of Cristiano Ronaldo.
According to The Sun’s Alan Nixon, the Wales international was offered to a host of Premier League clubs on Saturday as Man United are looking to get him off their books.
He claims that the likes of Leeds, Brighton, Everton, Crystal Palace, Wolves and Leicester are among the sides who could sign him before the August 31 deadline.
Must go for him
The Whites are unlikely to sign an attacker from now until the end of the transfer window, but in James, they have a long-term target who’s being offered to them.
It’s a well-documented fact that he almost joined Leeds a few seasons ago and Marcelo Bielsa is understood to be a fan of the 23-year-old.
He might not be an upgrade on either Raphinha or Jack Harrison, but he could offer Bielsa plenty of options whenever he looks to rotate his players.

Also, he’s set to play in every league game, albeit not the entire 90 minutes, but would be extremely influential off the bench.
James has an engine on him coupled with the ability to beat players for sheer pace.
Man United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer waxed lyrical of his “exceptional” pace when they signed him in the summer of 2019. [Club’s official website]
He’s also a decent dribbler, and while there are certain aspects of his game he could improve, he’s a perfect fit for Bielsa.
