Lee Tomlin sends one-word tweet to Leeds fan who trolled him in 3-3 draw v Cardiff

Cardiff City forward Lee Tomlin has responded to a Leeds United fan on Twitter after he was trolled for his performance on Saturday.

Tomlin, 30, scored one goal and assisted another as the Welsh side came from three goals behind to earn a 3-3 draw at Elland Road and prevent Leeds from returning to the top of the Championship table.

It was a horrible way to end a match that Leeds had done so well in to build up their three-goal advantage but to be fair, Tomlin played some great football to help his side take a point back to South Wales.

It was not all impressive by the former Middlesbrough player though and during the game, one Leeds fans took to Twitter to aim a dig at the attack.

After the match, Tomlin took to his personal Twitter account to respond.

“Awkward,” he said, with a laughing emoji.

On the pitch, you have to admit that Tomlin did well to score and get an assist to help his side but digging out fans on Twitter is a bit childish.

Has he just searched for his own name to see what people were saying about him? Hoping that he could find one fan to have a go back at.

If so, that’s a bit odd, isn’t it?
