Kiko Casilla has 90% chance of being in Leeds United squad next season
Kiko Casilla has a 90% chance of being involved in the Leeds United squad next season in what looks to be an incredible u-turn, according to LUFC FANZONE.
The online source, which is followed by members of the squad such as Mateusz Klich and Stuart Dallas shared the news from a source close to the player.
Graham Smth reported this week that Casilla could be given a settlement to end his contract and time at Leeds early, but there may have been a change in heart.

Writing on their official Instagram page on Thursday [09 June], LUFC FANZONE shared what they had been informed regarding the Spaniard and next season.
“Kiko Casilla will return to Leeds United following the expiry of his loan deal at La Liga side Elche,” they wrote.
“It was believed that Elche had the option to turn Casilla’s loan deal into a permanent transfer, however a source close to the player has told LUFCFANZONE that the 35-year-old will be returning to Elland Road and that there is a ‘90% chance that Kiko will be at Leeds next season to help add his experience to the group’.”

Got to be kidding us.
Jesse Marsch is not well placed to make a decision on this, but Andrea Radrizzani should know much better.
Casilla should have been bombed out of Elland Road immediately after being found guilty of racially abusing then-Charlton player Jonathan Leko back in 2019.
Instead, he was kept around by Marcelo Bielsa and was even used in the Premier League despite the fans being more than against that decision.
The Spaniard has spent the 2021-22 season on loan at Elche, but it now looks as though he will be back at Elland Road next season fighting for his spot against Illan Meslier again.
Experience is said to be wanted, but it would be best to get him off the wage bill and then look for other options in the current market across the summer.
Graham Smyth had reported that an exit settlement was likely for Casilla, but it looks as though a U-turn is now set to be on the cards moving forward.
We don’t expect this to be very popular if true.
