Junior Firpo sends two-word message to Georginio Rutter after Leeds United win v Millwall
Junior Firpo has sent a two-word message to his Leeds United teammate Georginio Rutter after their victory against Millwall.
The West Yorkshire outfit ran out 3-0 winners in their highly-anticipated Championship meeting at The Den on Sunday (17 September).
And attacker Rutter played a key role during his 89 minutes on the pitch, scoring once and assisting another in the important win.
Taking to social media to celebrate the win, Rutter posted on Instagram: “What a feeling today!!! Big win big support.”
And among those replying to the 21-year-old was his Whites teammate Firpo, who commented on the post: “My guy.”
Best performance yet?

The win against Millwall arguably represented Rutter’s best performance yet in a Leeds shirt, which is not that difficult given how he has struggled so far for the Whites.
But the display will give the youngster plenty of confidence on the pitch, with fans finally getting a glimpse of just why so much money was spent on bringing him to Elland Road.
Frustratingly, it wasn’t witnessed in the Premier League last season, but the forward will quickly be forgiven by the Leeds faithful if he can fire the club back into the top flight.
Unfortunately for Firpo, a thigh injury kept him out of action at The Den, but the left-back remained upbeat as he watched his teammates do the job on Sunday.
Setting up Joel Piroe’s first of two goals in the 15th minute, Rutter then got a taste of success with his strike in the 81st minute, with Piroe having scored his second just four minutes earlier.
In other Leeds United news, one summer signing has immediately repaid the faith as his superb August Championship statistics emerge.
