'Joke' - Barry Douglas reacts to Leeds United star after 3-1 defeat v Chelsea

Leeds United fell to a disappointing 3-1 defeat against Chelsea on Saturday evening at Stamford Bridge.

The Whites saw their impressive run of results against Arsenal and Everton come to an end, but they won't be too disheartened.

Chelsea had players worth more than Leeds' entire starting XI, and they were competitive for most of the 90 minutes.

Kalvin Phillips was once again one of the shining lights.

The Yorkshire Pirlo delivered the perfect assist for Patrick Bamford's opener and was resolute in defence against some of the best in the Premier League.

Phillips has taken to his Instagram account on Tuesday to address the defeat, and also look forward to the next game against West Ham on Friday.

Barry Douglas, currently on loan at Blackburn has reacted to his latest post, and has clearly been impressed with his displays in the Premier League.

"You're a joke," he replied.

Phillips was even better in the win against Everton and has returned a different animal after his recent shoulder injury.

The 25-year-old covered the most distance, made the most passes and also won back possession the most - something which happens frequently.

Phillips has earned plenty of plaudits for his performances this season, and it isn't just Douglas and other Leeds players impressed.

BBC pundit Garth Crooks even suggested that Liverpool should be targeting Phillips to replace Jordan Henderson - that's how well he's performing.

Unfortunately for the Premier League champions, every single performance is adding more millions onto his pricetag if ever made available and we doubt that will ever happen.
