Joe Rodon uploads post after Leeds United win, Tottenham star Son Heung-min reacts

Tottenham star Son Heung-min has liked an Instagram post by Leeds United loanee Joe Rodon following the Whites' win over Sheffield Wednesday.

Daniel Farke's side claimed a big three points in the race for promotion by securing a hard-fought 2-0 victory over the Owls at Hillsborough on Friday night (8 March).

Goals from Patrick Bamford and Wilfried Gnonto proved decisive, while Rodon once again helped his side to a clean sheet with a positive display at the back.

Following the win, the Wales international took to his Instagram and posted two pictures of himself celebrating on the pitch, captioned by "plus three" alongside a yellow circle and blue heart emoji, representing Leeds' colours (9 March).

Son was one of several stars who liked Rodon's post, with his current teammates Ethan Ampadu, Archie Gray and fellow loanee Connor Roberts among the others to show their appreciation for the centre-back.

Alongside his fellow professionals, thousands of supporters added to their likes while plenty of them also flooded the comments to beg the Welshman to make his stay at Elland Road permanent.

Son is Spurs' club captain and has clearly been watching on from a distance as Rodon has continued to impress for the Whites, which can mean only one of two things; either the South Korean will advise Ange Postecoglou to give the defender a second chance, or his price is about to skyrocket.

Farke will likely want Rodon to stay, and the 26-year-old's post suggests he perhaps also wants to stay with the passion in his celebration clear.

Supporters must now anxiously wait and see what happens between Rodon, Spurs and Leeds this summer.
