Jim White details Andrea Radrizzani stance as Leeds United face Kalvin Phillips and Raphinha exits

Jim White claims that Andrea Rarizzani is not focused on the outgoings at Leeds United as he’s only looking at players the club can sign this summer.

Kalvin Phillips and Raphinha are both linked with the Elland Road exit door and White, who spoke to the Leeds owner, says that he’s still coy about their futures.

White has stated that there’s a very good chance that Phillips joins Manchester City should they match Leeds’ valuation in their offer.

He said on talkSPORT (June 21, 10:49am), “Kalvin Phillips is wanted by Manchester City, that move could well happen.

“It’s my information this morning, there’s big talk of Phillips to Manchester City. It’s my understanding that there are no concrete offers for him yet or for Raphinha given interest from Arsenal. Andrea Radrizzani is mainly focused on players coming in and that’s the word from the club.”

Simon Jordan injected to say, “That’s a way of circumventing the fact that we’ve not got an offer. If we get a good offer then we’ll sell.”

To which White responded, “Isn’t every player actually up for sale? If the right offer is made they can leave.”

Double exit likely?

It seems inevitable that Leeds will lose Raphinha and Phillips this summer with clubs competing in Europe coming in for him.

Despite Arsenal not being a Champions League club, they are still in the Europa League and will be looking for a top four finish.

One cannot even sleep on Barcelona yet as they will still continue their pursuit of the Brazilian, knowing that he and his agent are keen on a move.

Radrizzani hasn’t come out and said that they’re not for sale and we at least expected him to put in a fight for Phillips.

However, it seems that the England international has informed the club that he will leave if he gets an offer that’s too good to turn down.

City are one such club that will offer him the chance to compete for the Premier League and Champions League every season.

In other Leeds United news, Fabrizio Romano has shared if a ‘Sensational’ defensive midfielder has agreed terms for an Elland Road switch and become the club’s fourth summer signing.
