Jesse Marsch tells Radrizzani he wants Aaronson to be first Leeds United signing
Jesse Marsch has reportedly told Andrea Radrizzani that he wants Brenden Aaronson to be his first signing at Leeds United.
According to The Daily Star, the new Leeds boss met with the owner to discuss incomings this summer.
He told the Italian that he wants his American counterpart who’s currently plying his trade at Red Bull Salzburg.

Marsch wants the Leeds chairman to push for the 21-year-old’s signing once the window opens.
The Whites have been eyeing an attacking midfielder for the last two summers, but to no avail.
Make it happen
Aaronson was someone that even Marcelo Bielsa wanted at Leeds.
He was hellbent on signing the 21-year-old to that extent that he refused the likes of Harry Winks and Donny van de Beek.
It ended up costing him his job and his departure left question marks as to whether the club would still want to sign him in the summer.

However, it looks like Marsch has kept an eye on the American talents and wants to go ahead with the signing of Aaronson.
In a Breaking The Lines feature from 2020, Aaronson has been labelled “magnificent” and rated as the next big thing in Europe.
Looking at him in the Champions League, he certainly fits the bill at Salzburg and they play an identical style to what Marsch has deployed in his last two managerial stints.
This could be a match made in heaven if only there’s a will to make it happen.
In other Leeds United news, a former Whites midfielder has joked that he’s open to a return to Elland Road.
