Javi Gracia to snub Rodrigo in Leeds United starting XI v Wolves - Sky Sports pundit
We’re delighted to welcome former England goalkeeper Paul Robinson as our exclusive columnist as each week he’ll be giving his views on the biggest talking points at Leeds United…
Paul Robinson has predicted Javi Gracia to snub Rodrigo and stick with Patrick Bamford for Leeds United’s Premier League clash against Wolves.
Gracia’s side currently sit 19th and will be looking to move within a point of 13th-placed Wolves with a win at Molineux on Saturday.
Rodrigo returned to the squad for the Whites’ 2-2 against Brighton and Hove Albion, however, Robinson believes Leeds’ top scorer will have to once again settle for a place on the bench against Julen Lopetegui’s side.
“I don’t think you will see Rodrigo come back into the side. He will play the three in behind Patrick Bamford who got his goal at the weekend – he always looks a threat,” Robinson exclusively told MOT Leeds News.
“Rutter has got his work cut out to get in the side and start. Bamford got his goal, so at the moment, he starts for me.”

Rodrigo’s return from injury is a timely boost for Gracia ahead of a crucial set of fixtures. The trip to Molineux is followed by a daunting trip to The Emirates to face Arsenal.
In other Leeds United news, the club may now face a losing battle to keep their star player at Elland Road beyond the summer transfer window.
