Jamie & Harry Redknapp thrilled by Leeds star Patrick Bamford
Jamie Redknapp has been thrilled by Leeds United forward Patrick Bamford in the Premier League this season.
Once again, the Whites talisman was on media duties that have come with his success since his return to the big time at Elland Road.
Redknapp and his guests were all massive fans of Bamford, who spoke of how he always believed in himself to succeed under Marcelo Bielsa.
Speaking on Redknapp’s Big Night Out on Thursday evening, Redknapp was clearly thrilled to have Bamford on the show.
“Now it’s time to speak to Leeds goal-machine Patrick Bamford,” he said.
“I love seeing those goals going in and then looking your face, you can see the pure joy on your face as they go in.”
Harry Redknapp agreed too and even tipped the Whites striker to be in the England squad for the upcoming European Championships.
“What you’ve done this year, Patrick, you’ve proved to everyone, you’d be in my EUROs squad, I really do mean that.”
After his goal against Spurs, Bamford now has three more games to prove to Gareth Southgate that he has what it takes to get to the EUROs.
Ollie Watkins bet him to a call-up at the last opportunity, although he has struggled recently and was even sent off against Manchester United last time out.
Bamford has five more goal involvements this season, including more assists and obviously has a better minute per goal ratio, according to the BBC.
The Redknapp family are clearly massive fans, and goals in his last three games would make it near-impossible for Southgate to overlook our main man this summer.
