Jamie Carragher makes Leeds United admission ahead of Liverpool v Everton
Jamie Carragher believes Liverpool would have made a lot of changes if they were facing Leeds United instead of Everton on Sunday.
The Reds beat Manchester United 4-0 on Tuesday night, but the fact that they’re challenging on many fronts means that they need to keep their squad fit.
However, with the rivalry against the Toffees, Carragher does not see Jurgen Klopp resting his key players.

“I think Jurgen Klopp might take the emotion out of it,” said Carragher on Sky Sports. “He does have to be brave, from now until the end of the season.
“He can’t play the same eight or nine players every game. I think he may look at that game and say ‘I might need to be brave in this game’ and say ‘this is a team that are fourth or fifth from bottom’.
“If we were playing Leeds or Brentford, then I would make five or six changes.”
Weird one
One look at the table will tell Carragher who the better teams have been this season.
Not just in terms of overall points but also considering the form table.
Leeds have enjoyed three crucial wins since Jesse Marsch has taken over and look comfortably set for a third straight Premier League season.

Even Brentford registered one of the biggest wins in their history against Chelsea recently.
Everton, on the other hand, are struggling to avoid the drop so Klopp can afford to make changes against them but would underestimate Leeds at his peril.
Hopefully, Marsch’s men can give them a run for their money when they take on each other on April 30.
In other Leeds United news, the Whites are leading the race to complete a major signing and have already opened talks to seal a £25m deal.
