Jack Harrison has heaped praise on Leeds United duo Kalvin Phillips and Patrick Bamford after both hit landmarks against Crystal Palace.
Bamford scored his 100th club goal in the 2-0 win, with Phillips impressively making his 200th appearance for the Whites.
Harrison claimed that the latter has become a club legend, whereas Bamford is answering all of his critics with his antics in the Premier League.
Speaking to LUTV ahead of the clash against Arsenal on Sunday, Harrison was full of praise for his record-breaking teammates.
“You don’t need me to tell you how crucial they’ve been to the team’s success,” he said.
“Bamford has had a lot of stick from fans, and I’m just so happy to see him doing so well this year, especially in the Premier League – right up there with the top scorers.
“Kalvin is like a legend here at the club and 200 appearances is incredible.”
Bamford has taken his plaudits from everyone this season, but Phillips often goes under-the-radar despite his massive role in the side.
Marcelo Bielsa transformed him into a defensive quarterback in midfield, and he hasn’t looked back since that game against Stoke three years ago.
Leeds aren’t the same without him, and that could be the case against Arsenal.
Phillips is a doubt for the trip to the Emirates Stadium, and Bielsa will need to find an answer should he leave that hole in midfield.
200 appearances and 100 goals down, this Whites pair will not want to stop there, and we are backing them to continue that incredible form.
