Ian Wright stunned by Jack Harrison in Leeds United win v West Ham

Ian Wright was left stunned by Leeds United winger Jack Harrison in the huge 3-2 win against West Ham on Sunday.

The winger scored his first-ever career hat-trick at the London Stadium, with three brilliant finishes in the final third.

Wright singled out the finish for the third goal, as Harrison dinked it over an onrushing Lukasz Fabianski.

Speaking on Match of the Day 2, Wright was full of praise for Harrison after his trio of goals in London.

“A lot of great stuff, I thought Leeds were brilliant,” he said.

“In the end, he has a free shot at it, he takes it very well – it’s the way he’s been playing, all day when he found himself in these areas, very calm.

“Here he is again, brilliant play. Look at his movement there. Jack Harrison, it’s a brilliant finish, he’s put a little dink on it.”

Wow.

What an afternoon this was.

The travelling Leeds faithful were finally treated to a special day out and were able to take three points home for only the second away game this season.

Harrison was obviously essential to that, and all three of his goals were expertly taken – but the third was the pick of the bunch.

After slight hesitation from both himself and Lukasz Fabianski, he was the one to regain composure and dink it into the net where many others would have panicked.

Wright was spot on to pick that out, and hopefully, after four goals in his last two, this is the start of another goal haul for Harrison.
