Ian Wright savages Leeds United defender Junior Firpo for Tottenham Hotspur performance
Ian Wright has slammed Junior Firpo for his performance in the Leeds United v Tottenham Hotspur game on Saturday.
The Whites suffered a shock 4-0 defeat against Spurs in front of their home support at Elland Road.
Firpo, who failed to win the ball that led to Dejan Kulusevski’s goal was righty criticised by Wright.

Speaking on Premier League Productions’ half-time show, he said, “Terrible. I’m not impressed by what he does. Doesn’t even look to nick the ball. Crazy play from him.”
Bad game all round
It’s hard to point fingers only at Firpo when so much has been going wrong at the club.
Marcelo Bielsa is once again in the firing line after another horrible display.
Whether sacking him is the right decision remains to be seen, but questions need to be asked if he’s the one to get the club out of this mess.
Firpo, who looked like he was returning to his Real Betis form, unfortunately, put in a game worth forgetting.

He was bad against Liverpool and his performance against Spurs also did him no wonders.
Stuart Dallas could do with a run at left-back again as he was exceptional there last season.
Firpo may be better suited by taking a few games off and watching from the bench as his performances have not been very good.
Hopefully, the club make a quick decision on Bielsa and we’re hoping that he stays on for some more time.
