Ian Wright delivers verdict on Kalvin Phillips Leeds United future
Ian Wright does not think Kalvin Phillips will leave Leeds United at the end of the season despite all the exit reports.
However, he doubled down on his previous statement when he said that he does see the England international leaving for a bigger club.
MOT Leeds News covered his quotes on the Kelly and Wrighty Show when he said that he does not think Phillips wants to play for the Whites anymore.

Referring to those comments on Wrighty’s House, he said, “I don’t see him leaving [this summer]. He should stay for a while. He’s somebody that’s going to be wanted, simply because of the way he’s playing, how good he is in that position. He’s going to be integral in the future for England.
“At some stage, he’ll obviously want to play at the levels, in the Champions League because that’s what his talent deserves.”
One more season?
Phillips may want to move to a Champions League club and challenge for the biggest trophies.
He obviously would want Leeds to reach that next level, but that does not seem to be happening any time soon.

The Englishman would not want to waste the best years of his career fighting against relegation.
Given Raphinha’s situation, there’s a good chance that he does not want to be another big-name player to leave in the same window.
Possibly, next season might be his last at Elland Road if he’s playing the way he is, clubs are certainly going to be circling around him.
In other Leeds United news, the Whites are leading the race to complete a major signing and have already opened talks to seal a £25m deal.
