Hull City look ridiculous over decision made ahead of Leeds United match

Hull City have done something bizarre before they take on Leeds United in the Championship on Saturday.

The Whites will face Ruben Selles’ team on 4 January at the MKM Stadium.

Daniel Farke was unable to get three points last time out after the 1-1 draw with Blackburn Rovers on New Year’s Day.

The Peacocks are still at the top of the league table and need to get the three points against Hull to keep their competition at bay.

As things stand, the Tigers are in the relegation zone and risk relegation to League One after winning just two of their last 17 Championship fixtures.

Hull City make Abu Kamara apologise ahead of Leeds United game

Hull made the ridiculous decision to have Abu Kamara accompany Selles in the press conference before taking on the Whites [BBC Humberside Sport, 3 January].

The 21-year-old was made to apologise for a social media post under former Portsmouth teammate Paddy Lane’s Instagram account after their 4-0 win over Swansea on 1 January.

Kamara commented with a smile-with-tears and a red heart emoji but was made to express regret.

Pompey went a point ahead of the Tigers after the win, and some fans took offence at what the young forward did.

While fans may have been upset by what Kamara posted, to make him front up on the eve of the Leeds game just seems ridiculous.

Leeds can’t dwell on Hull’s actions and must ensure they get the three points away from home on Saturday.

Selles’ team look out of sorts at the moment, and the Peacocks need to take advantage of the turmoil at the MKM Stadium.

The Elland Road faithful expect the West Yorkshire club to attain Premier League promotion and nothing short of that will suffice.

In other Leeds United news, Matt Davies-Adams has predicted Farke to be sacked in a matter of months.
