Guillermo Alonso and Marcos Abad leave Marcelo Bielsa around to stay at Leeds United – report
Leeds United have waved goodbye to a number of their backroom staff as well as Marcelo Bielsa, according to Training Ground Guru.
The trusted source has reported on their website that assistants Diego Reyes, Pablo Quiroga and Luis Ouvina as well as fitness coach Benoit Delaval have gone.
It is shared that Guillermo Alonso and Marcos Abad are set to stick around at Thorp Arch though, continuing their roles.

Jesse Marsch is the man set to replace Bielsa at Elland Road, and it looks as though he’ll have two set to stick around to help.
Coming in from America with little knowledge of the English game apart from prior research, that will be critical.
Abad and Alonso both worked with Victor Orta before at Middlesbrough, and that is a big reason behind them likely staying.
They weren’t part of Bielsa’s big circle from throughout his career, with those considered more like family than colleagues.

Sticking around.
It is likely to be a complete rebuild for Marsch, or whoever else comes in.
Having an analyst and goalkeeping coach leaves the entire first-team void of coaches or management team until the announcement is made.
Given that Leeds and Orta are said to have been in talks with Marsch for years, he will have surely been putting his plans in place regarding his team [Phil Hay].
This is a critical part of the Premier League season, and if Marsch doesn’t arrive fully prepared, he could become a real problem.
We cannot let this relegation battle drag us too far down, or it will soon become more likely that we’ll be in that bottom three than out of it.
Starting at Leicester, Marsch must have his team ready for a huge battle, and it’s time to really start kicking on – time to win some points.
