Leeds United need Dan James to get back to full fitness

The case of James is a funny one. The attacker is like Marmite for Leeds fans, they either love him or hate him.

One thing is certain though, whenever the Welshman puts on the Leeds jersey, he always gives his all and at the moment, that’s what Daniel Farke needs.

The 2024/25 season hasn’t gotten off to the best of starts for the West Yorkshire outfit with the club dropping points against the likes of Burnley, Portsmouth and West Brom already.

Farke has added new faces to his attack over the summer window and despite their arrival, only Manor Solomon has had much of an impact.

James has been sidelined since before the international break and will be missing for another three weeks after a setback in his recovery.

The winger has said that his injury won’t keep him out for “too long” [The Second Tier Podcast] but, it looks as though the Elland Road faithful want him back sooner rather than later.
