Gary Neville takes aim at Angus Kinnear and Leeds yet again on Sky Sports
Gary Neville has once again taken aim at Leeds United and Angus Kinnear after his comments on Premier League transfer tax.
The Whites chief compared top-flight clubs helping EFL clubs financially down the line to “Maoist collective agriculturalism” in an extraordinary rant.
Neville insisted that “top clubs” in England such as Liverpool should move to rein in these types of comments from the likes of Leeds.

Speaking live on Monday Night Football, Neville took aim once again at the Whites and Kinnear for his comments.
“I just thought Leeds United as an ownership, as a sort of executive management team, would have understood the feeling of economic distress, desperation by being in the Championship that they were for so long,” he said.
“What I hope is that some of the top clubs in the country, like Manchester United and Liverpool – I have always thought that they should really be the guardians of English football.
“The most historic clubs, the most successful, they have got the biggest money and the most revenue – they should really be sat there, sort of reining in some of these comments.”

What?
We can’t really tell if Neville is being serious here?
In what world should Leeds be forced to sit and take instructions from another club in the same league, fighting for the same prize at the end of it.
No matter how big and successful he deems them to be, there is no chance that Leeds and other clubs around them will sit back and be told what to do by the likes of Liverpool and Manchester United.
This brings back the European Super League argument, and the entitlement that bigger clubs have and how they think they sit above everyone else.
It is simply embarrassing and it would never happen, no matter how ludicrous they may find some comments – they can’t sit on a pedestal and start dictating things.
