Gabriel Agbonlahor wants to apply for Leeds United job

Gabriel Agbonlahor believes that he can do a better job at managing Leeds United than Marcelo Bielsa.

The former Premier League striker went on a bizarre rant on talkSPORT and slammed the Leeds boss.

He then confirmed that he’s got his coaching badges and is going to apply for the Elland Road job.

He said, “I’ve got my coaching badges and I’d do a better job at Leeds at the moment.

“I’m going to apply for the job, I am. I’ll do a better job (than Bielsa) now. I’ll go to Liverpool and put in a better setup than he does.”

Weird agenda

Agbonlahor is just waiting for Leeds to lose a game so he can go on his vile rants.

Sure, the 6-0 loss against Liverpool was embarrassing and another pragmatic manager would’ve not conceded so many goals.

But that’s not the Bielsa way of play and that’s why the Argentine is loved by fans of the club as well as millions worldwide.

He’s got a fixed playing philosophy which he does not alter for any opposition.

Had he been pragmatic he would not have made the name he has for himself.

Even if the results against the big teams are like this, most Leeds fans would still want him at the club.

Agbonlahor will probably be booted out of the job after one month in charge.
