Gabby Agbonlahor predicts outcome of Leeds United v Chelsea in Premier League for talkSPORT
Gabby Agbonlahor has predicted that Leeds United will travel to Stamford Bridge and beat Chelsea in the Premier League on Saturday (4 March), when speaking to talkSPORT EDGE.
Javi Gracia will look to return to winning ways following their 2-0 defeat to Fulham in the FA Cup fifth round, with his Whites side currently sitting just one point above the dreaded relegation zone.
The Spanish manager navigated Leeds to a vital 1-0 win against direct rivals Southampton at Elland Road last week (25 February), with Junior Firpo continuing his remarkable return to form in West Yorkshire with the only goal of the game.

Making his predictions for talkSPORT EDGE (Friday 3 March), Agbonlahor predicted that Chelsea’s freefall under manager Graham Potter – which has seen them win just once in their last 11 games – would continue and Leeds would come away 2-1 victors.
He said: “The way Chelsea are playing, it wouldn’t surprise me if Leeds go and beat them, it really doesn’t.
“This is the sort of game that I feel could be the end for Potter. I’ve got to for a Leeds win. I just feel that Leeds play with energy – you saw Southampton go to Stamford Bridge and win – so there’s no reason why Leeds can’t go there and put in a performance against some Chelsea players who are down downing tools.
“So I’m going to go 2-1 to Leeds.”

Great chance
If ever Leeds would fancy their chances of travelling to Stamford Bridge and coming back with a result, this would be the time,
The Blues are desperately out of form at the moment, and the toxic atmosphere at home matches could well come to Leeds’ advantage if they get off to a quick start.
Don’t expect this to be the most thrilling Premier League encounter, with both sides struggling to find the back of the net in recent weeks. In their last six games in all competitions, the Whites have only found the back of the net on two occasions, while their opponents have scored just one goal in their last six matches.
In the end, the match could well come down to the side that carries the most confidence going into the match. With new manager Gracia in the dugout, and having started his life at Elland Road in winning style, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Leeds nick a result at the Bridge.
