Four Brighton players ruled out v Leeds United while Tariq Lamptey still doubtful

As many as five Brighton players could now miss their Premier League clash against Leeds United on Saturday at Elland Road.

The Whites will be looking to return to winning ways in their quest to avoid getting relegated from the top flight but will have to deal with one of the league’s in-form sides.

Per injury expert Ben Dinnery, Jakub Moder, Levi Colwill, Enock Mwepu, as well as Adam Lallana, are ruled out while Tariq Lamptey has a 50 per cent chance to feature.

Three points likely?

Brighton have gone on to show over the last two seasons that they can well be thought of as the best of the rest in the Premier League.

They’re a well run club from top to bottom and have talented players that are worth tens of millions and are targeted by top sides.

Under De Zerbi, they’ve in fact looked like a better side than they did under Graham Potter so Leeds are going to have their work cut out.

They will have to hope that they catch the Seagulls on a rare bad day and they’re going to need the Elland Road support to play its part in this as well.

Javi Gracia has proven that he can get a tune out of these players but he’s going to need a bit more than that in order to pick up the three points.

Leeds surely will be starting this one as underdogs but they’ve got to believe that they can go out and get the three points.

In other Leeds United news, the club may now face a losing battle to keep their star player at Elland Road beyond the summer transfer window.
