FC Barcelona could include future clauses as Leeds United keen on Ilias Akhomach transfer
FC Barcelona could look to include future sell-on clauses as Leeds United are reportedly keen on clinching the signing of attacker Ilias Akhomach.
According to Sport [29 March], the 18-year-old has made his decision to leave and will not be renewing his contract at the Catalan club.
However, as per Article 20, Annex 4 of the FIFA Solidarity Contribution, they are entitled to receive some compensation from the club that eventually ends up signing the Spanish winger.

It’s understood that this may even include a percentage of a future transfer fee which is something that would benefit Leeds as they will not be paying anything right now and if they sell him, a part of that profit will be given to the Calatan giants.
Sport [23 March] reported that the Whites hold the advantage over Arsenal and other suitors including Sevilla and AC Milan to sign the Spaniard.
They certainly are looking to make him the first signing of the Javi Gracia era and the fact that he’s in Spain means that clubs in England can discuss pre-contract terms with him and finalise his free transfer.

Given the fact that Leeds appear to be closing in on him ahead of sides that will offer European football, there’s a very good chance that he’s going straight into the first team squad, rather than the under-21s.
He’s already made a handful of senior appearances for Barcelona and if he’s good enough to play for them, he’s surely ready for the challenge at Elland Road.
In other Leeds United, the Whites are now in pole position to seal their first signing under Javi Gracia despite interest from a Premier League rival.
