Fabrizio Romano: Feyenoord include sell-on clause as Leeds United sign Luis Sinisterra

Feyenoord have reportedly included a sell-on clause in the deal to sell Luis Sinisterra to Leeds United.

On Thursday, June 7, Leeds made it official that they had signed the Colombian winger on a five-year deal.

Sky Sports journalist Fabrizio Romano revealed that there has been a sell-on clause put in to ensure the Dutch side get a share of the money from any future sale.

Via Twitter, he wrote, “Official, confirmed. Luís Sinisterra joins Leeds United on permanent deal from Feyenoord for €25m fee plus add-ons. #LUFC Contract signed, club statement confirms – understand there’s also a sell on clause included in the deal.”

Acceptable

For the price Leeds signed him at, this was always going to be a part of the deal as they’ve actually got a great deal.

He was the best young player in the Europa League last season and will only get better with time.

The Premier League is an entirely different ball game but he will not really feel like a sore thumb in the squad due to the massive overhaul this summer.

Already, six new players have walked through the door, out of which five are expected to start in every game that they’re fit.

Another two players are likely to join and they will all spend time with each other in pre-season to adapt to the strengths and weaknesses.

There is real excitement about Sinisterra and we cannot wait to see what he has to offer to this new look Leeds squad under Jesse Marsch.

In other Leeds United, a Whites defender heavily admired by Marcelo Bielsa could permanently seal his permanent exit this summer with there being genuine interest in his services.
