FA set to look into kit regulations after confusion during Leeds United v Brighton
Football’s governing bodies including the FA are set to look into kit regulations after what happened during Leeds United v Brighton.
According to The Athletic, colour blind viewers were frustrated by Brighton’s goalless draw at home to Leeds.
The Premier League’s software which assists in kit selection, highlighted that the game could lead to a problem, but the decision that Leeds will wear purple was thought to be the right one, given their other kits are white and blue.

Strange one
With all the snowy conditions this weekend, it’s pretty strange that the Leeds game was one of the toughest for viewers to watch.
While purple and blue are two distinct colours, both were light ones and appeared to coincide on a number of occasions.
Brighton could have played in an alternative strip for this one, but they were the home side and did not feel the need for it.
Neither did the Premier League or Leeds, but after watching the game on TV, they may reconsider their stance.

Hopefully, the FA and the Premier League work on their system as this is not something that should happen again.
A majority of the revenues are generated from broadcasting so the least the viewers are eligible to have an experience worth remembering and unfortunately, those watching the game were not treated to one.
In terms of quality of football, it wasn’t ideal from Leeds either and Marcelo Bielsa needs to change a few things or things could get a lot worse before they get better for them.
