Kalvin Phillips has claimed he is “honoured” to have been painted into a Leeds United mural including Lucas Radebe and Albert Johanneson.

Not only was he included, but the Yorkshire Pirlo is the main event with his enlarged image in the middle of the mural.

It has been used to announce a new global partnership with Roc Nation, with the New York skyline also included to signify their American roots.

Phillips claimed he was “endlessly proud” to be part of the Leeds family, as he continues to be the face for everything positive coming out of West Yorkshire.

The midfielder shared a message on his personal Twitter account on Saturday evening, thanking everybody for their reaction.

“An honour to stand beside two Leeds United legends, Albert Johanneson and Lucas Radebe,” he wrote.

“Thank you for all the support. Endlessly proud to be a part of this community.”

Andrea Radrizzani is continuing to work his magic in terms of partnerships with outside parties at Elland Road.
America is clearly a market that he wants to penetrate with the Whites, and this Roc Nation announcement adds to the partnership with the San Francisco 49ers.
Leeds described this as a venture that should help them get into markets in America as well as Asia – something that can only be a positive.
Who better to be the face of this than Phillips? A Leeds boy who epitomises everything it means to be part of this club and long may it continue to bring success.
